Additional Info: Many great wizards were in Gryffindor house at Hogwarts. Harry, Ron & Hermione are in Gryffindor. There is strong rivalry between Gryffindor and Slytherin. Gryffindor has won the house cup for the last 3 years in a row.

Hufflepuff

Attributes: Hardworking, loyalty, good natured.
Hufflepuffs of note: None that we know specifically of yet.
Additional Info: Hufflepuff is often overlooked. It has a reputation of not being in the lime-light much (unlike Gryffindor & Slytherin). Hufflepuff is also considered by some people as a loser's house. This is not really true as Hufflepuff have many good students.

Ravenclaw

Founder: Rowena Ravenclaw
Resident Ghost: The Grey Lady

House Colour: Purply-Blue
Head of the House: Professor Filius Flitwick
Attributes: Clever, quick thinking.
Ravenclaw of note: None that we know specifically of yet.
Additional Info: Ravenclaw students are considered to be smart and popular. Cho Chang is in Ravenclaw.

Slytherin

Founder: Salazar Slytherin
Resident Ghost: Bloody Baron
Symbol : Serpent
House Colour: Green
Head of the House: Professor Severus Snape
Attributes: Power hungry, ambitious, slyness.
Slytherins of note: Lord Voldemort (Tom Riddle), Lucius Malfoy, Severus Snape.
Additional Info: More dark wizards have come out of Slytherin house than all the other houses put together. Lord Voldemort himself was in Slytherin. Slytherins are considered to be sly, power hungry and interested in the dark arts.
